LGV - CATEGORY C+E (ARTICULATED LORRY) REQUIREMENTS Before you can begin training and apply for practical driving test for an artic lorry licence You must have your full rigid lorry licence (category C) accompanied by a provisional artic lorry licence (category C + E) If you wish to book training with us and meet the above requirements, contact the office and we can book a test appointment for you and arrange training dates. TRAINING The training will be completed with a professional training instructor on a full sized vehicle (Volvo FH 12 - Tractor unit and 45 ft tri-axel box trailer on air) and will last for five consecutive days. The training and test can be completed at one of the following preferred test centres; ¢ Craigavon ¢ Belfast ¢ Derry Please contact the office if you require further information on the availability of tests. COSTS The cost of training will be £590.00 for the five-day course. There is also a test fee of £61.00 payable to the DVTA (driver vehicle testing agency)
