City Training Services are a commercial driving school covering the whole of Northern Ireland. Providing LGV, forklift, plant training and more, we welcome pupils from South East England and the London area.

ADR Hazardous Goods Driver Training

ADR - DANGEROUS GOODS
(Initial course)

This qualification is mandatory for drivers who carry either packaged dangerous goods (vehicle over 3.5 tonnes) or dangerous goods in road tankers (over 1000 litres capacity).

The qualification is an ADR Certificate issued by the DVLA.
The test is a "multiple choice" examination run through Scottish Qualifications Authority. The candidate must pass at least three modules for a certificate to be issued - Core, either packs or tanks and one chemical class.

The courses are of varying length - a standard "full course" covers core, tanks and packs modules and all seven chemical classes, the course duration is five days. The tanks course covers core, tanks and class 3 - flammable liquids, the course duration is three days.

The initial course is for candidates who wish to achieve the certificate for the first time.
Your ADR certificate needs to be renewed every 5 Years, and you must renew the licence at least 6 - 8 weeks before the expiry date. You may only renew those modules that already exist on your licence.

TRAINING

The training for the initial course (core tanks pack & 7chemical classes) will run over two weekends and examination day or five weekdays (Mon to Fri).

Our next full course will take place in December 09. The course will be held at our training centre @ 14 Greenpark Crest Armagh starting Fri 11th December @ 9am continuing Sat12th & Sun 13th continuing the following weekend Sat 19th & Sun 20th, exams on Sun 20th starting @ 9.00 am

Training for fuel delivery course(core tanks & class 3) will run over three days, the next course dates we have are in December running over a weekend & one weekday starting Fri 11th December @ 9am continuing Sat12th & Sun 13th exam day please contact me for further details on 028 37515137        .

There will also be a tanks evening course running in January starting on Tue 12th @ 6.30 pm & continuing Wed 13th, Thurs 14th & Fri 15th starting @ 9.00 am the exams will be held on Fri 15th Jan starting @ 12 pm
