Courses are available to anyone over sixteen years of age wishing to obtain their operators licence.
Forklift drivers are needed on not only the construction sites, but in many other businesses that deal with trade. The employment opportunities spread a lot further than you could imagine, this is a very useful qualification to have for anyone either starting employment or improving their employment prospects.
TRAINING
Training will vary depending upon which type of forklift training is required and how much experience the candidates have on the machinery.
" An inexperienced trainee will require five days training.
" An experienced trainee who has not held an operators licence before will require two days training.
" An experienced trainee renewing his operator licence will require one days training.
The course will consist of: Practical training,
Health & safety training,
Theory and practical test.
Licence and certification will be issued upon successful completion of the course and passing the theory and practical tests.
City Training can accommodate you by either coming out to your site or providing the training on our own site.
