City Training Services are a commercial driving school covering the whole of Northern Ireland. Providing LGV, forklift, plant training and more, we welcome pupils from South East England and the London area.

REQUIREMENTS

To train for a rigid lorry licence there are requirements you need to meet before you can apply for the training and test.

You must have your full car licence (category B) accompanied by a provisional rigid lorry licence (category C)

You must have passed your theory test & hazard perception test for "category C" and have your certificate, there is also a CPC case study to complete (New driver CPC rules have been applied from Sept '09), we complete tuition and test for this qualification and also run courses for existing drivers who need 35 hours of training to comply with this new leglisation please contact us if you require further information.

TRAINING

The training will be completed with a professional training instructor on a full sized vehicle (Scania 94 D curtain-sider) and will last for five consecutive days. The training and test will be completed at Craigavon test centre.

COSTS

The cost of training will be £650.00 + vat for the five-day course. There is also a test fee of £66.00 payable to the DVTA (driver vehicle testing agency)
